Hidden at the entry (or exit) point of the Queenscliff ferry terminal, is a room with a view. The RORO Cafe fits all the bills, with seating that overlooks the bay, plenty of play area (supervision required..), good coffee, and plenty of food choice.
They have a gift shop upon entry, with lots of fun little knick-knacks, and there’s a wall of local wines for the older gift recipient 😉 .
Coffee seems to remain consistent, as each time we head out to RORO Café, it’s always good.
Seating has never been an issue, as there are plenty of tables inside and outside, and there is room to manoeuvre a pram. It’s one of my favourite relaxing locations, as no matter what the weather is throwing at you, you always have the incredible view of Port Phillip bay and the Portsea headland to occupy you. If the timing is right, you even get dolphins. What more could you ask for when you’re needing some downtime?
